Level 15. Pro entry is 20,000 Sparks. 250 Thunder.
A run, not a step count
The Company Marathon is a running challenge. A player picks a distance and covers it on foot during the last weekend of the month. Everyday steps do not finish it. A bike ride does not finish it either.
The window opens on the last Friday and closes Sunday at midnight. There is one marathon each month. The player can finish from anywhere. A phone or a watch syncs the run.
Four distances, one challenge
5K is the starter distance, often one afternoon. 10K, 21K, and 42K are the longer runs on the same weekend. Each one opens at its own level.
Finishing any distance earns a badge. The time sits under the badge on the public profile, and the runner can improve that record next month.
What it costs
This challenge is not free. A normal user pays real money to enter.
A company employee is a Pro user, because the company pays the membership. Pro users pay with Sparks, the in-app coins they have earned by walking, running, cycling, or any other activity in the app.
